Summer Reading Challenge for 2024

Our 2024 Summer Reading Challenge has begun and we are excited to share it with you! Both Adults and Teens are encourages to read as many books as they can for the months of June to August in order to collect and win prizes.  This year, participants in our Reading Challenge will be asked to register using the Readsquared App, either on their computers or through their phones.  Setting up an account is easy and quick:
  1. Click this link to go straight to our READSQUARED site.
  2. Click Register and set up your own ReadSquared account with your own username and password. (Note: Inputting your age will determine whether you’ll be put in the Children, Teen, or Adult Challenge.)
That’s it!  Just start logging the books you read to collect points which makes you eligible for prizes.  The Muncie Public Library in Indiana has put together a tutorial on how to log books.  If you have any questions about the process, visit the Reference Desk to ask a librarian for assistance. You can collect your prizes at the Reference Desk at any time during the summer.  Both Teens and Adults can also earn points to be put in the drawing for Grand Prizes.  See these flyers for more details.
