Welcome to the Children’s Room!
At the Louis Bay 2nd Library, we want parents and kids to enjoy all sorts of activities.
From borrowing books to enjoying our programs, playing with our sensory boards, and exploring the puzzle and game hallway. Visit our Children's Department to learn more about upcoming services and events as well as other resources and programs available to children and their families.
Our programs are intended for children from 18 months through 12 years old.
Special Events this Month
Please remember...
- Children under the age of 10 years old must be attended by an adult
- Do not consume Food anywhere in the library, unless it is expressly approved or provided for a Library program or event
- Do not consume Beverages anywhere other than the main lobby, unless it is expressly approved or provided for a Library program or event. Beverages must be in a closed container.
- Do not talk on cell phones (permitted in Main Lobby only). Please turn off ringers in Library & Community Center.
- Please use headphones when using audio equipment so that others can not hear it.
- Please pick up your children from our programs on time. If you will be late, please call to let us know.
- When visiting us, please follow the rules for the Little Play House as it is in memory of a patron of the library.
